In an unfortunate incident in late October 2013, I was hospitalized due to a prolonged fever. I had some concerns about the costs but was reassured by my AIA representative, Mr. Hendri Chandra Tjong, that I had no worries and to forget about costs for the moment and concentrate on regaining my health.
Upon regaining my health and strength, I enquired with my AIA rep as to what paperwork I would be required to submit. I dreaded the upcoming applications and process as these tend to be long and drawn out.
To my pleasant surprise, I was only required to submit one particular document and within a month of submission, I received notification that my claim had been processed and that an amount had been deposited into my selected account.
It certainly goes to show that professionals to the likes of Mr. Hendri Chandra Tjong, know how assist their clients especially in times when the clients are more often than not more concerned about costs than on the road to good health.
